Protection of children and adolescents

Last updated · October 6, 2026

The sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a crime. In Peru it is punished with prison.

INTI Transfer rejects every form of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (known in Peru as ESNNA) in tourism and travel. As a tourism service provider, we have a duty to prevent it and to tell you how to act.

1. It is a crime

The Peruvian Criminal Code punishes with prison anyone who sexually exploits a person under 18, anyone who pays or offers something in exchange, and anyone who promotes, enables or facilitates that exploitation, including so-called sex tourism. Laws 28251 and 30963 strengthened these penalties.

The consent of the minor does not release the offender from responsibility.

2. Our commitment

At INTI Transfer we commit to:

  • Not providing or enabling any service whose purpose is the sexual exploitation of minors.
  • Instructing our drivers and staff to recognize warning signs and report them.
  • Cooperating with the authorities whenever there is a suspicion.
  • Informing our customers and suppliers about this crime and how to report it.

3. How to report

If you see or suspect a case, report it. Calls are free within Peru.

  • Line 100: Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations, 24 hours a day.
  • Line 1818: Ministry of the Interior, against human trafficking and exploitation.
  • 105: Peruvian National Police, emergencies.

You can also tell us through our contact page and we will help you reach the authorities.
